You know, I would have taken over the yahoo group for the people that don't have live journals. I just don't think it's fair to all of those 1,200 someodd people.
only about 3 ppl mildly objected (and they were ones who already had active livejournals). i'm guessing the rest simply bookmarked the new site.
yahoo's features were getting obsolete anyway and it's just as simple to check the lj site which has more features and is a cleaner program. 1. deleted posts stay deleted 2. no ads 3. no spam 4. potential rss feeds (have to look into that in the future.) for members. 5. ease of layout design for straightforward information. 6. comments stay hidden to those who aren't concerned. 7. 100% better search and tag features. 8. yahoo's file and photo system were crap compared to free services. 9. lj's ease of discussions staying in one post. 10. yahoo didn't allow me to write xxxholic.
anyway, it's gone. you obviously use lj alot so don't know why you'd care for those who cannot bookmark a simple url.
Yahoo! should not have any users at all, because it's one of the most wretched services online. I am stoked like whoa that I never have to look at its ugly mug again.
And, in fairness, it's not like the dissemination of CLAMP news is a public service. If you hate the idea of an LJ comm, I think Yahoo! still exists, doesn't it?
I'm actually pleased to hear this. LJournal is really the more popular method of spreading information and it is easier to keep out spam and other junk. So hooray ♥
DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD AND BY THAT I MEAN THE YAHOO! GROUP WHICH MEANS I GOT MY INBOX BACK FROM THE 10,000 LOSERS WHO THINK I ACTUALLY WANT INPUT ON WHETHER OR NOT THEY LIKED EPISODE 26 OF THE TERRIBLE TSUBASA ANIME AND WHO CANNOT OPERATE GOOOOOGLE TO DETERMINE WHAT BITTORRENT IS AND THUS GET EPISODE 26 IN THE FIRST PLACE~!!!!
YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ok, so, screen away, I don't even care, I'm so happy.
Ah...the Yahoo group is already down...oh well...
The Y! Group is down..
Lots of memories in that group... T_T
