Date: 2005-10-23 05:50 pm (UTC)yahoo's features were getting obsolete anyway and it's just as simple to check the lj site which has more features and is a cleaner program.
1. deleted posts stay deleted
2. no ads
3. no spam
4. potential rss feeds (have to look into that in the future.) for members.
5. ease of layout design for straightforward information.
6. comments stay hidden to those who aren't concerned.
7. 100% better search and tag features.
8. yahoo's file and photo system were crap compared to free services.
9. lj's ease of discussions staying in one post.
10. yahoo didn't allow me to write xxxholic.
anyway, it's gone. you obviously use lj alot so don't know why you'd care for those who cannot bookmark a simple url.
