Nakayoshi Announces (again) New "Cardcaptor Sakura" Anime

Well, it's not 'new': they already announced it in the first chapter of the Clear Card Arc (released in june 2016, it was written on the 2 pages color spread), but it's nice to know they are not forgetting about it (we didn't hear a single word about it these past 5 months...) and that the plans are still steadily going forward!

I'm sooo looking forward for that 😍 ... I guess , it's safe to think that the new anime will be about the new Clear Card Arc right ? .... but I doubt it would be ready really soon because there is going to be only one tankoubon available and the anime will catch up quickly , there needs to be more chapters available to start the anime, I think 🤔 ... I would love that Maaya Sakamoto sing the new opening 😍 though ...

As of now, they gave no further information about the anime, we just know that they are working on it and that it will be very likely be aired in 2017.

Since there is new manga material after a 20 years break, it would indeed be natural to think that the new anime should cover it. But then again, we don't know... My personal hope would be a remake faithful to the manga of the 2 first arcs *with no fillers at all*, and then they would continue directly from there by animating the actual on going CC arc ^^

I'm more worried about the studio who will produce it actually: I really want MADHOUSE to take charge of this project, since they are the one who did the whole 90's series and movies ^^
