Well, even though it's only a shadow at the moment, you can very easily tell that she is wearing her rollers and school uniform, she is very likely in a pose when she is rolling with the wind in her face (reason why her arm is lifted and positioned on her hat).
Release date: November 2016



To be sincere, I'm not feeling excited about it, at this point, it really feels like "one more Sakura figure"  added to the long list of existing and announced ones.
I will not not be purchasing it, and will save money for a high quality figure like the big Sakura scale by GSC.
The other thing is that with the new arc of CCS, I know want to see a "new" Sakura, not the 90's version anymore.

Ah a new figure yet not a new design ;n; I was going to be like "ooh maybe it is her from the new series" but then I realised the rollerblades which she no longer uses :c Never know, she might look really cute and we can't resist but to buy it xP!

oowww!! Don't say that! I am definitely resisting this time!!
The painted version of the scale figure by GSC will be revealed in only a few weeks, and I expect the pre-orders will start soon after that...Even though I have an idea of the total, thinking about the price is still stressing me out, and the fact I didn't save a cent for it to this day is not helping my nerves! ;__;

I'm putting all my money on that GSC scale for sure!!

I'm the same; saving all my money for the GSC scale! I'm also hoping to splash out a bit and get the new talking Kero-chan, book and light and dark card sets. I wonder if they will release a new-manga Sakura figure?

Just preordered, I love her in roller blades.
I was disappointed at the end of the manga she wasn't wearing them. I'm hoping she uses them sometimes in the new manga.
I really don't see why they would stop her wearing them.

If you like her looks in roller blades, then you must definitely get your hand son the figma of Sakura by Good Smile Company! (unless you already own it ;))

I know that my comment above might have sounded a bit negative, but I've been hit by the CCS goods tsunami for 5 years now, and my finances are suffering a LOT *cries*
Needless to say: if I could afford it I would most definitely purchase it all!! But I have come to a point in which I have to carefully only select the "best" out of the lot (which are ironically the most expensive...there is really no way out...)

Yes I do own it. It was really expensive but worth it.
I didn't really take it as negative, I just really miss that aspect of Sakura.
I really get the money problems too, I love Pokemon, puella magi madoka magica and digimon and all the sudden influx of merchandise has been crippling so I've had to be more practical too. :)

The Sakura goods train is full throttle and even being an adult with a job, I can't afford everything!

I have no idea how I managed to save up my money to buy original goods off eBay in my teens. For that same reason, it made me a little sad when they announced the reprints of the Clow book and reading book that went with it. It cost me a lot to buy the original OOP versions and I wonder if they're even worth the amount I paid for them now? They're sitting pretty on my Sakura shelf though! :D

I noticed some people are saying about pre-ordering Ichiban Kuji or something like that? I thought Ichiban kuji was the lottery game you play in the arcades in Japan. I'm not in Japan at the mo, so how do people get them without paying an arm and leg on eBay??

In order to purchase goods from japanese stores/sellers/auctions, you need to use a proxy buyer which will purchase the items for you and send them to you. Needless to say, you have to pay the proxy buyer a fee for their service.
Nonetheless, it allows international fans to get pretty much anything they want from Japan, and as soon as it's sold ^_^

For Ichiban Kuji items, most of us go to yahoo japan auctions.

Example of a recent purchase I made from a seller on yahoo auctions:
-item: CCS animate Cafe rubber straps (set of 2)
-seller's price: 1600jpy
-shipping cost (from seller to my proxy, both in Japan): 270jpy
-proxy's fees: 8usd
Total = 26 usd
