There is nothing much added up from what we already knew, it mostly says that thanks to the digital content with scans of the manga + illustrations on PC/tablet/smartphone, we can read whererer we want and like best, but I personally won't be able to completely rejoice about it until it's confirmed this is accessible to everyone worldwide and that this is not a Japan only service!
Also, from my understanding, there is a time limit for the access to the digital content: until august 2018.

I also remind you that each of the 9 volumes comes with a card, and when all 9 are put together, we get the following illustration:

I think I will withhold my opinion for a bit longer: the key question being : is it a downloadable content? And even if it's not 'officially' supposed to be downloaded, is there a relatively easy way to do it anyway? In which case the time limit really doesn't matter at all! Same for the Japan only thing: is it real problem or simply going past it with a proxy resolves the issue?
So many questions! Hopefully, we will get nice answers for them all :)

I bought the two volumes today and while I was sad before that the covers were kind of cut off, I am beyond satisfied to find these in the inside front covers:

As for the codigi, I can't help you with translation unfortunately, but I can tell you that you have start by registering yourself in codigi website. You know, the usual: nickname/password/email etc...
When you are subscribed and signed in, you should find where you are supposed to use the code: after login, input the code.

And so! One thing for sure: nothing happens until you register! So use Chrome, go to https://codigi.jp , use Chrome's tool to translate the page to english and register!

I don't know why they are asking for a codigi code so soon in the registration process, maybe it's a sort of screening to make sure that only people with at least one code would be able to register and no one else?
I see there are still 2 more steps beyond that, but I can't access them since I don't have my own codigi codes (arrive already, my books!!).

And one last, thing, you might want to use this picture instead of your photo to ask for a translation, it's a lot clearer and neater, and more importantantly, the code is not written on it: I do not know if the codes to access the digital content of CCS is the same for everyone (meaning all the books got the same code printed on them), or it this is a one-person-only code (meaning there is a different code in every book sold out there...), but if it's the case and someone use it before you, that would be a shame...I strongly advise you to delete the photo above.

Now, questions!
So could you tell me what do they ask for in the 2 steps beyond the Sign Up? And are the illustrations shared indeed artworks that were never published before? (like the illustrations from the mobile phone game and so on)

About getting the pictures, there is always the Print Screen option, but yeah, if there is a better option, that would be definitely welcome!

Were there 2 steps? :O After I registered (it only asks for your email address, your designated password and an initial codigi code), I was just asked to check my email and click the link to finalize my registration. It took me to my homepage with a bunch of other stuff and the CCS volume 1 (whose code I used for the initial registration). You can add more codes for the future volumes :)

As for the illustrations, they were from the mobile phone game afaik, need to double check my CCS illustrations collection. Here they are:

I've been worried all along this might be a Japan only thing, and that in next Steps they would ask for an address or something, so it's really a relief to know this is only a normal basic registration after all! :D

I was surprised for a second there, that there is only one illustration shared per volumes (and indeed, these are from the mobile game: http://clamp-now.livejournal.com/771184.html), but when you think about it, it makes a total of 18 with the 9 volumes, and I thing this is pretty much the total of new illustrations Clamp made recently?
There are already 14 of the mobile game, and I suppose the other 4 would be from the ichiban kuji specially made artworks (that's 2 more), Animate Kuji which is 1 more, I REALLY look forward to it, it's SxS wedding picture XD At least I hope this is the one, because they might be REALLY not nice, and use the CCS Exhibit illustration (the one with the 3 Sakura) and the very last one in volume 9 should be the new exclusive picture I think?

Yeah I was pretty surprised myself how easy the registration was, I thought I had to go through a lot or something XD;; I don't think codigi is a Japanese-IP-only website, since you could access the initial registration page, so that should be great :D

I was kinda hoping for more, but yeah, that explanation makes sense. And YES SxS WEDDING PICTURE, I really hope it gets included! That has been the best one for me so far. :D

Wait... (re-read your post) a special digital illustration BOOK? Sorry, I got it wrong when I read your post the 1st time, I thought it was a new artwork!
Then it's now certain that the 18 artworks are
-14 mobile game
-2 Ichiban Kuji
-1 Animate Kuji
and -1 CCS Exhibits.
Which should be the entirety of new CCS artworks these past 2 years.

I'm not sure I understand very well what they are planning with a digital artbook ^^; I want a real one, made of paper and ink!

Oh God I'm sorry! I just re-checked that note after reading your comment - why the heck did I think that kanji was 本 (book)?! It's　版 (according to my dictionary, it's printing block/plate, edition, impression, label). I totally thought the furigana was ほん and not　ばん, my apologizes, ugh. So perhaps your earlier theory is correct!

OMG this is my first time to see this! Awww thank you! I want more of SxS illustrations so I really REALLY hope CLAMP comes up with more of them. Personally I prefer the style from years ago but I don't think anyone will complain about more CCS SxS illustrations.

Here is a version that is not cut off in the borders, scanned by...me ;) Unfortunately the quality is not optimal, as this is a scan of a super tiny preview of the artwork I found in Clamp Pia.

And yes, I'm also crossing my fingers for more SxS! My only doubt is: if the cover of volume 9 is an SxS artwork, will Clamp really make *yet* another one as an exclusive digital bonus? And vise versa: if the exclusive digital artwork is SxS, than won't I be disappointed if
because of it the cover of the last volume of the series is not SxS...a difficult choice! But nonetheless, no matter what, the probability is very high that we are getting at least one illustration of those 2! ;D

Ooooh thank you! That was a treat :D I want to hope but I guess with CLAMP we can only hope they hear the fans' wishes. SxS or a group illustration for me :) August is so far away!
