New CCS Ichiban Kuji prizes to be released in January 2015

From what I gathered, this will pretty much be the same event as the Lottery that happened in June 2014, I believe most, if not all of you, still remember it (there were 4 mini figures by Banesto, towels, stationery sets, nail art sets, new illustration etc..).

There is a theme this time, and it's "Kero Tea Party". The items are the following (listed from A to H like last time, A being the most difficult to get, then there are special prizes in the end):

○A賞 ケルベロスぬいぐるみ - A-Kero plush toy
○B賞 マカロンクッション - B-cushion in the shape of a macaroon
○C賞 ティーポット- C-teapot
○D賞 フェイスポーチ - ?
○E賞 デコレーションステッカーセット - E-sticker set
○F賞 ティーカップ - F-tea cup
○G賞 ポイント刺繍入りタオル - G-towels
○H賞 スイーツチャームストラップ - H-charms/straps
○ラストワン賞 はにゃーん顔ケルベロスぬいぐるみ - kero plush toy
○ダブルチャンスキャンペーン 描きおろしイラストホルダー - illustration holder (if it's the same as June's, then maybe we can expect a new artwork by Clamp)

No pictures of any of these prizes are available as of yet.

I've seen most of the items from the last Ani-kuji on Amazon....at about 3 times worth the price *sigh* I always get this feeling most people get the items just so they can sell the for 3x-5x if not more worth the price just so they can make money off them, rather than because they want the items for keeps.

You're really great at keeping up and finding out character good news for CCS! I had no idea of this new Kuji. Well :) guess we'll just have to wait out pictures of the new goodies.

Most of them were indeed sold at pretty expensive prices! D: And not just internationally: on yahoo.jp the prices were really ugly too! D:
But generally, the prizes D to H lowered really fast (or more like, they were never that expensive to start with) and were actually affordable (which is why I own most of them :D). But prizes A to C & the bonus prizes generally stayed almost the same all along...EXPENSIVE!

The fact it is not sold in stores plays a big part in this: this is the kind of prices to expect when goodies come from special events in which you actually need to be physically there to get what you want...

That said, I'm not sure what to feel about this new Lottery: the theme "tea party" is really inspiring, but when I read the list of items I'm not feeling that excited somehow...I don't think I will kill myself (and my wallet...) as much as I did last time, unless they really surprise me when they show off the pics of the goods~ And even like that, I might actually think about it twice: there are many others CCS merchandise already scheduled to be released in the first months of 2015 to which I might give priority...

BTW: are you buying the CCS 2015 calendar? I'm seriously doubting I will, it's in my cart in amazon.jp but I will very likely delete it, since everything so far indicates it's an exact replica of the 2000 one! D:

I'm not sure if I'll get it. In theory I would since I never owned the 2000 Calendar and they would make nice posters. Still, I am disappointed that no new images were made. I've seen Dragon Ball Z calendars and they gotten new images even though the franchise is so old. Maybe there is a chance the images will change very last minute but I doubt it.

@_@ all these CCS goodies (and Saiyuki goodies, my other favorite series btw) have turned me into a horrible shop-a-holic! I'll probably get the calendar anyways but just not prioritize it as much yet. I think I'll get those stickers first xD I adore the KAIJU one!

Honestly, one part of me is screaming that it doesn't matter and to get it anyway, and another part is telling me I'd better use that money elsewhere, better than a calendar that was made "lazily" only using old materials...I'm divided!

All in all, if I knew there was just ONE new illustration, I wouldn't even been thinking at all: I would pre-order it this very moment, but the thought of nothing new at all is repelling me in spite of being a fan!

Considering ALL THE NEW STUFF they keep popping for Cardcaptor Sakura you would think they could have made ONE new anime art.

Then again, I would also like having a manga version of the 2015 calendar.

I think in your case maybe you should wait till the calendar is released and maybe someone else will share all the images, so that way you know 100% that it's a re-print of the old calendar or something new was added. I don't think the calendar will sell out very fast, especially if it's not new images, so should be safe to wait :)

I've been thinking about it and telling myself that it would be a waste: if I am going to buy it in the end, why pay the shipping cost separately, while right now there is actually magazines I am getting from amazon.jp (TWC chapter2...) and with which I could add it up...but then again, if I really WILL be too disappointed in the end seeing illustrations from 15 years ago and wonder why I didn't buy an artbook instead or something, I believe chances are I will very likely follow your advice! :)
