"Tsubasa - WoRLD CHRoNiCLE - Nirai Kanai-hen" (ツバサ-WoRLD CHRoNiCLE-ニライカナイ編 ) starts on August 20th in Shonen Magazine SPECIAL (マガジンSPECIAL)

First chapter will have color pages and a total of 49 pages. "Tsubasa" will be featured on the magazine front cover.To celebrate the new series, there will be a special service to win Tsubasa-themed earphone jacks.

Between me and Clamp, we've had a complicated love/hate relationship for years: they go on hiatus, make me wait years for new chapters of their series, also do not keep some of their promises and take breaks whenever they feel like it even when they *do* release a manga...but when they actually release something, I just can't help feeling happy about it ;_;
And so, end of the line: in spite of many disappointments lately, I'm still really looking forward to it!

Hahahaha I feel your pain . It seems that clamp not only create complicated relationships between their characters but also create complicated relationships with their fans XD . I love and admire their work but I can't help to feel frustrated as well whenever they put something on the infamous "hiatus status" @-@

They used to release at least two stories at the time so now that they will stop xxxholic and go for TRC I hope they continue as well with Drug and Drop , being Nekoi the lead artist for DD , it's obvious it couldn't be Gate 7 because Mokona is the lead artist for that one as well and she will have enough on her plate with TRC .

I still don't give up on Clover and X *_* !!!!

Finally , thanks a lot cutecherry for always keeping us updated with anything related to Clamp , you have no idea how much I appreciated ... Arigato !!!

49 pages seems like a luxury considering how short the chapters of xxxholic rei were...

So we are now less than a month away from the start of this mini. It's nice to see a new color picture for Tsubasa. Also good to hear that it's getting the cover piece too. Hmmm, 49 pages is pretty much what I was expecting, meaning that if they keep it up we will get one volume of material from 4 chapters since a volume is usually around 180-200 pages. There are of course cases when that isn't true but it's pretty much the standard.

Now I am beginning to wonder if this release will be getting a Deluxe Edition like the original got. If you're not aware, they released every volume of Tsubasa in a bigger hardcover book with a slip on case feauting new artwork and the book had better paper quality, color artwork and they kept the poetic text in the intro pages for each chapter. I am hoping they will keep this tradition alive even if it's just a mini.

I am still hoping that this will lead to another Tsubasa OVA that covers the end of the original manga, or something like that.

About the earphones, I personally suspect we won't hear much of them until the magazine itself is released...

From the look of it, I see no earphones at all...the only offer is an iphone case with a new illustration of TWC (you can see the page about it included in the chapter itself).
Maybe there was some error?

Only 18 days until the release of the magazine. I wonder how long it will take for us to get an english scanlation. I am also debating if I should look through the raw before I actually read it, but that would kinda be spoiling myself.
