CCS iphone cases and smartphone charms

Released by gourmandise and scheduled to be out in October 2014, there are going to be 5 different iphone cases and 3 charms.
The charms will cost 680jpy, and the cases 2000jpy.

And surprisingly, more than the goodies themselves, what interested me most on the page about them was this sentence: "1996年のアニメ放映から15周年を迎えたCLAMP原作『カードキャプチャーさくら"  = CLAMP Original, which celebrated its 15th anniversary from the anime aired in 1996 "Card Capture Sakura"
So this flood of merchandise was INDEED a 15th anniversary thing!! I thought it was too soon since the manga/anime ended in summer of 2000, so said 15th anniversary should have been in mid 2015 in my mind, but what the heck! They started one year earlier, urrhhh...or more like they had started by the end of 2013 already, but when you see all they've released so far (and still going on!), they clearly needed that extra time!




EDIT: [july 18th] All 5 cases and 3 charms are available for preorder -starting today- in various online stores, like amiami, hobbylink  hobbysearch...just take your pick on which online store you want to buy from! I personally preordered the 3 charms from amiami this morning! :)

I've also had the same thought, why always iphone!
But then, it might just be easier for them: for Samsung for example, there are different dimensions for the countless models they have, while Apple pretty much only have that 1 model: the iphone; of course there are issues about which generation you own, but that pretty much stops there...

I don't have an iphone but that first case is so pretty! <3
well, at least they made charms, i siuposse those are universally compatible :P

so that was the reason behind all the goodies! XD I addmit that the thought of a remake corssed my mind at some point :P (like Sailor Moon or FMA or other series that had their remakes done pretty soon)

I believe the thought of a remake crossed the minds of many people, me included! And you know what? If I was told about a remake last year, I would have laughed it off, but now, I actually consider it a possibility, who knows? As a friend of mine said to me recently, the whole Sailor Moon thing started with a flood of goodies too! ;)
Let's keep our fingers crossed just a little bit longer, and at default of CCS, we are still getting more TRC soon! :)

I didn't even know there were charms for smart phones now! How cute! :D

I love getting all this new merchandise but I want CLAMP art goodies, not anime art goodies. xD

I'd also love to have more clamp artworks, waaaaaayyyyy better than anime ones...but I can't complain too much either considering all the new illustrations they made for the mobile game last year! And just last month they made another one as a lottery award >.<
