CLAMP members had a lunch with Masao Maruyama from studio MAPPA. Masao Maruyama is the co-founder of MADHOUSE studios as well. They talked about the CLAMP anime adaptations produced by MADHOUSE such as Card Captor Sakura, Chobits, Tokyo Babylon, X and they hinted at a possible CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 3 coming soon!

All I can say is: bring it on! Anything you give us I'm taking! And I suspect that since we would be getting some new animation, it's sure to be accompanied with new artworks that goes with it too! XD
Last year was really quite 'dead' in the Clamp world compared to the previous ones, but WOW, 2013 started beautifully already!

omg I wish that for Sakura's 20th anniversary clamp decide to do something special :L, either manga or anime. If so, Anime ^-^, to see what happened after the sealed card PLEASE XDD

I wouldn't think it'll come out this year, maybe not even on the next one, I guess they discussed the possibility of making it in the future. It has been only 6 years since the release of the 2nd one, and there was a gap of 13 years between the release of the 1st and 2nd one.

It's bound to happen, of course, but it'll take a while I think.

I didn't expect it to be anytime *soon* as they said, but still, I thought it might be possible for it to be released either in fall 2013 or winter 2014? We are talking, after all, about a 5min animation, they won't take months to do that if you see what I mean ^^; The delay might be on Clamp' side if they are the ones planning this, if they need to sketch it all or something.

It's true they were a larger gap between the 1st and 2nd CiW, but I think that now that they actually mentioned it publicly on Clamp's official twitter account, they should very likely do something about it in less than a year?

CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2 was announced in 2006 but only came out in 2007. It took a whole year to make that 5 min clip xD

It's a short clip but there is a lot of involvement from CLAMP, and they are busy so maybe that's why it takes a while for it to be produced.

Very likely to happen, no anime studio has the rights for it, so I suppose that as long as the original authors (Clamp) allows it, it's all good ;)
