A little catch-up on some CLAMP news while I was away...

An xxxHOLiC artbook will be released January 2013! 160 pages.

Here's a preview of the 2013 CLAMP desk calendar on sale in October.

CLAMP's contributed an illustration to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's 25th Anniversary book. Click here for a larger image.

A variety of new CLAMP Festival merchandise has been added to the website. Anyone going to the Festival this year?

And here's the cover of Duklyon of the CLAMP Classic Collection. It will be on sale October 4th.

Never really paid attention to the festivals before... the goods are only sold in the festival venues right?

I really want those clear file sets haha and I bet if they pop up on ebay they'll be wayyyy more than 1,000yen per set :(

i think the clear files show up at Animate too...not totally sure though. or maybe someone in the community will be going to the Festival and can pick up a set for you.:)

Are there people in this comm who reside in JP or visit there often? Idk why but I was under the impression all of us in the comm aren't in JP oops.

I have been so out of the loop re: CLAMP stuff... since trc ended haha. I want to thank you for keeping this comm updated btw! I tend to go months without paying attention to any CLAMP work, but can get caught up with all the news updates from here easily :)

tbh I was just on a CCS kick this weekend, hence the CCS clear file catching my eye. hmmm, not familiar with Animate but I'll check it out, thanks!

Thanks for all the info! Not really impressed with the festival goodies this year though, but both the Clamp Pia and the calendar make up for it! The new artworks are all so beautiful! I can't wait to see the Ashura, Kobato and Kuro/Fye ones more clearly ^^
And another new CCS|SxS illustration? and with the plushies! Having seen those for so long! After so many years of complete 'drought' on their side, I'm really happy but also feels like it's too good to be true aha~

If by "without a venue ticket" you mean without going there personally, the only option I see are auctions websites, mostly yahoo.jp auctions.

No, I mean, is it possible to go there in person and buy the goods even if you don't have a ticket for the actual show? That is, just go there, buy the goods and then go home again. Or are the goods only available to those with tickets?

Sorry, I truly don't know the answer to that. But if you reside in Japan, the easiest thing would simply be email them or phone them directly about it, I saw several phones numbers in the ABOUT part of the 2012 official website (http://clampfestival.jp).
In the Clamp FEStival 2011 official website (http://www.clampfestival.jp/2011/), they even put an email: info@clampfestival.jp ; but I don't know if it's still usable since it doesn't appear in the 2012 page, but you don't loose anything trying it out!
