I just checked my amazon.jp order this morning, expecting to see a 'dispatching soon' next to it, but I was actually welcomed instead with a 'we're experiencing a delay with your order' @__@

I don't know if it's only amazon.jp or if it's the same everywhere else, but the release date of Kobato's artbook was pushed back to October 19th, 2011.
They didn't change the shipping estimate though (tomorrow) but I guess they will soon enough? EDIT: amazon customer service emailed me about it, now the delivery estimate will be between the 17th and the 20th, which is normal considering the release date is now the 14th...

Noticed that the page disappeared from Kadokawa and Animate had TBA. Was waiting for CLAMP-NET to update before posting, but thx for letting us what you heard.

There's no estimated dispatch date at AmiAmi's website for the book, either. However, after I made my pre-order, the book price/shipping estimate was re-adjusted to a lower price. Here's the message copied & pasted from an e-mail that they sent out.


"Dear Customer,

Thank you for your order with AmiAmi! We have just received notification from the publisher that the price of Shinryaku! Ika Musume Animation Book - We'll Take Over The Anime Industry! (BOOK) has been changed from 1,365 JPY to 1,260 JPY.

Just received another email from amazon.jp customer service today: the release date is indeed now October 19th.
