I think it's more like since there is already a serie adapted to Blood --> Blood+, this one will be the 2nd adaptation of the serie Blood... ?!

But but, there's already going to be one manga adaptation of BLOOD-C serialized on Shounen ACE made by Ranmaru Kotone. >_> That must mean we'll have TWO manga adaptations of the same thing.

Would this second one, currently without a known author, be about BLOOD-C's story from a different perspective? Or could it be a spin-off?

I don't know but maybe it'll be a different adaptation from the manga then... ? I'm confused too...

I think popular anime series can get multiple manga spin-offs. Code Geass got like 5-6 spinoff mangas.

I usually don't read them, since the mangaka usually have liberties with the story. I don't think the BLOOD franchise has an original manga. I think the franchise started with the anime movie, so each new franchise reboots Saya into a new scenario.
