I'm kind of surprised that Viz didn't get the US rights considering their near-monopoly on Shueisha series licences, but I'm not complaining.

Yes, preferring DH over Viz..Their omnibus books are nice. I guess Viz still has CLAMP's X. Hope their 3-in-1 books are good.

yeah, the main reason why I just bought the DH CardCaptor Sakura omnibus (which makes this the 4th time I'm buying CCS^_^;) is because I knew Dark Horse would do it properly.

I wonder if this means the book size will be American graphic novel size, too.

Not surprised Dark Horse got is releasing this since they have most of the licenses of CLAMP's titles in the states. And they have done good work with the re-releases of CLAMP's older titles.

I doubt EMA will release in "Summer 2011". They always need at least 6 months between the Japanese release and theirs (Loveless, Kyoukai no Rinne being examples of quickly released series). Not that I'm complaining, it's fast enough, I'm just being nitpicky about the "Summer 2011" thing.

But I'll grab the French release anyway, I'm happy with their releases in Animland so far.

Same with US releases as they are always delaying their releases, but in this case, I think CLAMP is trying something new with GATE 7 and trying to make it an almost simultaneous global sale manga. Hopefully, all the companies can stick with it. :)
