Tsubasa OAD licensed

According to ANN (and by the Anime Milwaukee convention held at Wisconsin in March), both the Tokyo Revelations and Shunraiki OADs for Tsubasa has been licensed by Funimation.

I'm actually pretty excited, since its nice that both of them get to be released in America. They both were excellent and now people will be able to own them.

Plus, I can't wait to see all of this dubbed. I've never really seen the anime dubbed, but the cast is pretty good, so I am pretty sure they will do this justice. Funimation is pretty good with dubs afterall.

Great. the oads were better than the tv series and probably worth getting. :) hope they get the xxxHolic ones, too.

I was hoping it'd get licensed, but I'll be happy enough with just watching it with subs, since Funimation's translation team has always been good with it. I wouldn't expect a recast, but ugh. Vic's portrayal of Fay always makes me cringe, and I really couldn't stand Monica Rial's Sakura either.

Still excited to pick them up though - I love being able to pick up licensed subbed anime.

The Funimation dub made me cry even more than the regular TV series... BUT I am extremely happy we'll be able to get then over here, with official subs and such :]

Is the dub really that bad? well, I only heard it a few times, but I thought Cloney, Fai and Kurogane were good. Mokona and Sakura though I didn't like

Kurogane did ok in the dub, but not nearly as awesome as the original. Everyone else was kinda... bleh.

But I too will be picking this up when Funimation releases it. I think when xxxHolic Kei gets a DVD release they'll license that and (hopefully)both OADs

I've been waiting for this moment. I'm not big on the series, but I LOVE the OAD's. Hopefully they'll license the xxxHOLiC ones as well. (Though probably not as they never even licensed its second season)

Yay! I don't care much for the dub either, but I'm just happy to have an official copy of the OADs. (On the bright side, dub-wise, now Vic McWhatsis can be forced to voice some of Fai's gayest moments. I swear, part 3 of Tokyo Revelations is just swimming in slash.)

Though I felt the slash more in the manga than in the OAD, but still it's nice to see it animated.

Took them long enough!
The french version has been out for a WHILE now ^^;; (the french version actually released the exact same thing as Japan: the identically same box with both DVD and book)

Sweet, can't wait to buy these, and as one of the few who loves the dub (not as much as the original mind you) I can't wait to see how all four the main va's handle the drastic change in their charries. Although there are a few lines that if they mess up I will hogtie them (A.K.A. All who work at FUNi) to a tree XD.

Great! It is good OAD get licensed. Tsubasa Collected Memories arrived yesterday, I was just thinking about OAD should get licensed. Now here I hear about this! YAY!

According to Funimation, xxxHOLiC will release viridian boxset, of course all of you already know that but also will be release blu ray for season 1 but I'm not sure because it said on advertisement, can't say it is true. It sucks because only season 1, no boxsets stuff like Tsubasa. I just hope Funimation have better common sense to release xxxHOLiC same manner as Tsubasa.

i fear the bad dubbing quality for what they did to the anime...i fear how Fai will pronounce Kuro's full name... so...ill wait for it to go on the hulu funi channel and watch only the sub x_x
