Young Magazine #52 say that xxxHolic•Rou 194 will release in 12/21 with extra and color pages. It will be the first chapter of volume 17.

Such a long wait... and I hope this would be the last xxxHOLiC volume. I really adore, adore HOLiC, but for that, I hope they're not going to drag it for too long, like they've done with Tsubasa. :'(

I thought holic was going on until the spring? So there should be at least 18 volumes unless CLAMP decides to pull long breaks on us again.

xxxHolic goes on until spring (04/23), but CLAMP takes 4 months to do a new volume of xxxHolic(not take 2 months like Tsubasa).

I'm getting the sense that I'm in the minority for not thinking that TRC went on too long, and for thinking that I wouldn't mind another volume of HOLiC or 3. I don't know, Himawari hasn't even shown up yet. It's definitely my thought that it'll go at least to 19 volumes.

I do wonder, though, what the odds on a resumption of Legal Drug are if/when HOLiC is over.

I definitely am not minding another few volumes of xxxHOLiC either. At first I wasn't sure because I really want to know the ending already, but now I'm into it. I'm very curious to see where it goes. 8D

xxxHOLiC·Rou could be even 16 tankoubons more of "cases with clients" like the first part XD
However, I think 18 tankoubons should be a great number (and I continue thinking last xxxHOLiC one or a new Tsubasa "extra" tankoubon should be released for a both series final). xxxHOLiC did usually take 4 months for a new volume to be completed because of TRC, but now serialization has speedup a little.
