i'm pretty sure you need a japanese address and/or cell number otherwise many, many of us would register.

i'd love to register since it's an inexpensive monthly fee, but i'm in the usa.

Well, there might be some sort of distribution laws that prevent them from opening up registration to non-Japanese residents, sort of the way that hulu.com can't stream into Canada.

At any rate, if I could still sort-of read Japanese, I'd just find somebody I know online (ooh, or my cousin who I haven't seen in awhile...) who would be willing to let me use their address to register.

i don't think it is distribution laws. it is probably just a choice to make it exclusive to their own residents. i think many artists (writers, musicians, etc) feel some loyalty towards their base of operations.

anyway, i don't think there are any members from this community who are currently in japan, so it's a little more difficult to find and ask a random online stranger for a monetary transaction. If the opportunity presents itself and seeing the comments so far, maybe someone has access and will share.

Well, like Nokiirat explained above, this is indeed something reserved to the japanese residents.
I believe this is unfair toward their international fans, who do not have access to it, even if they'd like to~
So yeah, there is pretty much nothing to do, but to cross our fingers and hope it will be spread online at one point or another ^^;;;
