Somewhat spoilery, but nothing 'new'--- The 2nd Tsubasa artbook was released this week. The bloggers have confirmed the 2 extra comics included in the artbook are the 2 Horitsuba omakes that were released in Shonen Magazine's Dragon Special; the Xmas cake and New Year's stories. :/

yeah, maybe the blogger got it wrong, but i doubt it.
they should have stuck the omakes in volume 28 and added something new. or maybe they'll add a new omake in volume 28. if not, aw shucks.

why did we all even think that it was going to be new omakes? did they not announce it or did we all just kinda make it up? :(
do you know if anyone has posted what's on the back cover yet? although that's probably going to be a big disappointment too

:/ I get the feeling that CLAMP has gotten really lazy when it comes to Tsubasa (the covers of volume 28.. just scream lazy to me). I mean, a new 6 page story can't be too much of a problem for them, could it? Bah. I was really looking forward to new omakes :/ But hey, I guess there's still some slight hope for something extra in volume 28..

Not everyone complained. Some of us just said, it was kind of a let down, since pretty much most of us, expected something new, like it happened with the previous artbook.

Either way, I don't see why we've come to "expect" new stuff because of the last art book. It's not like every CLAMP art book to date was like the last TRC one and this is some sudden let down. Besides, having the omakes in a high quality print isn't a bad thing at all.

But if it's not one thing, it's another with most people. e_e

I am complaining because I am disappointed. If you're not then I'm happy for you, but I am very much. I wasn't reading Tsubasa because of art (even though art is important, it's manga after all) but because of the story, so the only reason why I even considered buying this artbook was because there was a possibility of a new short story in it, and did it look like we were going to get some!! Hence the disappointment. So, please, stop pointing fingers, I have the right to complain and vent all I want.

When the news was released that there would be two omakes in the artbooks, I was also expecting something new, not sequels, but separates stories maybe?

I can't say I didn't sigh pretty loudly when I read the news above, especially since I'm actually going through some heavy trouble with my order and even went as far as making a whole new order (=+4300JPY of shipping) to get both this artbook and the last deluxe book T___T

I can see on the posts above that people seems to....be unhappy about one thing or another about this issue~

If I had to make one 'complain' myself, it would be this: indeed, it wasn't said it would be new material, but the fact in itself it was hidden until the artbook was actually sold in stores, is rather treacherous in itself: why not simply state from the very start that the 2 omakes would be the old holitsuba ones? It's very unlikely a last minute thing, it must have been planed from the very start. No one would have expected anything.
Considering that, I'm having a hard time believing it wasn't made on purpose and they didn't play on that misunderstanding the fans were SURE to have about the whole 'there will be two omakes' announcement.
Also, the TRC vol28 Deluxe edition is also slightly more expensive then all the anterior ones, for no reason as far as I know.
If there is something I might get angry about, it's neither Clamp nor the content of neither the artbook, but the guys who milk the fans from their money through cheap tricks =___=

OH WELL. I also hoped for some kind of post-series omake, but \o_O/ what're you gonna do. Hopefully HOLiC'll deliver |D;

I do find it kind of amusing that normally, everybody's flailing HARDCORE over Horitsuba, and now not even one person seems happy about getting decent scans for it ;;

Why do i get the impression though, everything starts from the cover? I got a hunch, if the cover was different, no one would even complain about new stuff or not. It is just the tip of the iceberg.

yep, looks like some people more more upset than others, but it would have been nice to see the gang in an after-epilogue situation, so i think most people are a smidge disappointed. yes, waiting for my order, too. :)
