I guess the Syaoran in the Deluxe edition cover, must have the exact same position as his father did in volume 1~
As itzen said above, we started with the father and ended with the son...
We can say that we are back to square one but also, that the loop was closed off and a new future should be written from that point in the past and on.

I can already hear all the fans complaining about FWR never getting a cover but...seriously, he ended up being such a pathetic character in the end that I really don't want a cover, and definitely not the last one of the series, reminding me always just what a big FIASCO FWR's character was and just how much Clamp failed =___=

that's a good analysis of the cover. FWR never seemed to get established as a full character with an angsty background...oh well.

Ah, but don't forget that he is still a threat in xxxholic... O_o CLAMP could pull a 360 and have him more in there. (could...if Clamp is that awesome....)

Was that really the father on the first Deluxe cover ? I mean, the father was already on volume 23's cover as the Clone, then on volume 27... But yeah, when the first cover was published, we only knew one Syaoran, so this will remain an unanswered question.

By the way, if it mirrors Volume 1, it will be a nice idea. But seeing that Shaolan... er, I mean Tsubasa, wears his clothes from the Tokubetsu-Hen, I hope Fye and Kuro will also appear on the cover (like Sakura appeared with Shaolan on volume 27's cover)

There seems to be sakura blossoms on the softcover. maybe she'll be on it (like she was on the 1st volume)

But that's the full cover, soft covers don't usually have a bigger version showing more characters, right?

I hope the artbook will have the 5 of them! I don't mind them split like in the previous artbook, but... I really want more pics of them all together, they're so pretty.

Oh such I nice cover, I love them both <3 I'm guessing there's no info yet if it's gonna be all the chapters that's left in it. Hmmm... though R!Syaoran seems to be wearing the clothes from the epilogue chapter.

Then this is going to been one thick volume, like 5 chapters more then there usually is, not that I'm complaining. Too bad I will have to wait for atleast 2-3 months before i'll be holding it in my hands.

I can't stare at the hardcover one without imagining Tsubasa's right eye to be blue (which is ridiculous bc he never had one in the first place!).

Also, though I like the soft cover one too, Tsubasa's pose seems kinda feminine. I still tink ya cool anyway ^^
