Amazon.jp has Kobato. DVDs up for preorder. Two episodes per DVD will be released in regular and limited edition formats.

The mail-in gift for those who buy the first 6 DVD's is a version of Kobato's glass bottle. Info added as websites update.
January 29: DVD Volume 1 (LE with CLAMP-illustrated box)
February 26: DVD Volume 2 (LE with Kobato & Kohaku drama CD)
March 26: DVD Volume 3 (LE with Ioryogi plush strap)
April 23: DVD Volume 4 (LE with Usyagi-san strap & flower growing set with seeds)
May 28: DVD Volume 5 (LE with 'Memories of Kobato' postcards)
June 25: DVD Volume 6 (LE with Usyagi and Ioryogi magnets)

July 23: DVD Volume 7 (LE with CLAMP-illustrated box)
August 27: DVD Volume 8 (LE with Bear's Baumkuchen shop drama CD)

Wow, i have to say that the regular price is pretty high. I mean, ok, fancy covers and maybe boxes, but it is two epis ultimately.

yeah, jp dvds are generally expensive. if i decide to buy it, i'm definitely waiting for the $50 usa thin pack box set. :) the only downside is that usa companies never use CLAMP's illustrations on the boxes.

While I won't buy any of the dvds, since I want to wait for the USA release...I'm excited, cause hopefully there will be the creditless openings and endings *_* and hopefully some kind soul will upload them to the internet...great for amvs!
