Have you gotten a chance to catch up?

Observing much ranting going on.
Please feel free to rage here, too.
Or will you wait until the extra chapter to pass judgment?
Anyone confused?
Anyone feel that this part clicked and made total sense?
What kind of conclusion were you hoping for?
What do you hope for in the extra chapter?

I'm still waiting for the slight 'ah-ha' moment just to tie everything together in a more convincing manner though the style of this ending is very CLAMP to me.

I loved the chapter. I loved Watanuki thanking Syaoran and I loved Kurogane and Fay being all parental. All the rage is making me sad.

I'm really looking forward to the extra chapter too. I don't think that every single tiny little side-story needs a precise resolution, so I'd be happy just to have the main five show up there, too.

This is pretty much the conclusion I wanted from the start, actually. XD Well, the basic premise. FWR defeated. SSKF being all familial... etc.

Nanase Ohkawa has lost his brain, which has become an unknown number of feathers scattered in the worlds. Nobody wants to recover them V__V
So there isn't the possibility of a temporal loop anymore, is it?
I hope for chapter 233! Kuro and Fay cannot be sat around the desert and STOP!!!

I loved it. I didn't expect the clones to come back after the last chapter, and while I did want them too, I'm still happy with the ending we got. It was very touching and beautiful and I loved it to pieces. I can't wait to have everything tidily scanlated so I can read the whole manga again, start to finish. I also want to icon everything.

I don't really know what to think, it doesn't feel like an ending at all to me and... what, I don't know... maybe I just didn't wanted it to end and I'm in denial but... I can't really tell what I feel entirely about this "ending". One thing I can tell though, for sure, its that it gave me more questions than answers.

For the extra chapter I think I need more closure or Ill stay in this WTF? feeling for the rest of my life

I felt like it was very rushed and anti climactic, like CLAMP just put it in cause they were sick of writing it. But I'm still going to hold out for the last chapter hopefully that will redeem it for me.

there wasn't much of a closure and what about all the questions that have been piling up since 2 years??

I keep remembering AL and how the actual final chapter is kind of... not much of an ending, but the special chapter shows you how everyone's doing, the ships, etc and makes it a MUCH more satisfying ending. S-so, yeah, even though I *did* like this chapter, I'm waiting for the actual final chapter to decide what I think about the end.

... I'm just happy that Real finally cried, okay 8| I've been wanting him to do so ever since he showed up.

...I'm not even sure what happened: who died, who didn't die, what was FWR up to in any case, and more importantly, why one should care at this point.

There's a lot I've found wrong with Tsubasa towards the end, but if anything I'd say it's the fact that CLAMP succeeded in killing their characters long before this chapter. The clone-shuffling simply took out any emotional investment one, as the reader, may have had with them, or at least made it very difficult to care. At which point the characters are officially dead.

And I admit I'm sure I missed something, but I never got what FWR was up to, exactly*. I always assumed there was an explanation somewhere between "SWOOOSHHHH" and "SHH-SHIIINK" or whatever the special effects padding every other page were.

Edit:
* Not through reading the manga, at least, though the Wikipedia page helped.

And more important, Who is Fei Wang Reed? Clow's brother? Clow's relative? IMHO this is the most stupid villan in the entire CLAMP's universe. I'm wating for the extra chapter, maybe there will be an answer. I hope so...

Leaving aside plots holes and unanswered questions, there were too many rushed things to call it a satisfying ending.

FWR's character ended up being mediocre, together with Xing Huo and Kyle Rondart. The lack of back up information behind FWR actions, Past and relationship with Clow Reed and Yuuko transformed the whole journey into something completely devoid of any sens nor interest.

Clow Reed's role in all this is vague too: we know he unconsciously made a wish, we also know he regretted it and went to Clow Country after the time was rewound the first time and paid in advance for the clone's reincarnation. What did he come to Clow Country for, really? What is that thing he had to do absolutely, even at the price of being separated from his beloved persons by coming to Clow country? What is his relationship with FWR? etc..

The use of what I call the 'cryptic factor' was excessive and turned repetitive (=boring) in the last volumes.

Real|Syaoran was very interesting when he first appeared: unlike the clone, he appeared to have a lot more emotions and depth to his character, which turned him into a favorite in my heart very fast.
Unfortunately, again, Clamp were excessive: his perpetual angst and show of guilt and pain, which was really truthful and througly touching, was extended too far for too long...
Furthermore, while he had the best intentions, his numerous successive wishes which -most- had dangerous ends, plus his fights which always ended up all or partly in failures (he failed in stopping his clone in Tokyo, he failed in stopping the princess from 'escaping' in Infinity, he couldn't stop clone|Sakura from being stabbed in Nihon, taking the princess's hand did no good in Clow ruins, in Celes he did nothing much either, in the final battle his 'parents' did most of the work etc..), dulled my feelings toward him, which was really extremely positive in the start.

Their previous series, Card Captor Sakura, was abused to the point of vulgar fanservice: we all remember CCS|Sakura meaningless appearance in a flashback repeated twice about her giving away her Star Wand without any official (yep, put in bold because if it's fans interpretations, many of you would list endless answers ^^;;) explanation behind it: How did she get inside the Dream face to face with Clone|Sakura? How did she know about this? How come she said her wand was 'precious' to the clone? How did she even know she had to give away her wand and not something else? Being more powerful then Clow Reed and so kind toward others, why not do anything about this issue (the universe being destroyed...) is she obviously has the power to do so? How come her Star Magic, shown in CCS to be her very own exclusive creation, could be used freely by her clone as if nothing? etc..

The official explanation about 'Syaoran' being Clow Reed blood relative is still eternally on hold.

Watanuki was included in neither 'Syaoran' not their 'parents' flashbacks, even though Yuuko insisted so much on how his cooking reminded her of his father's (just when did she get to eat Clone|Syaoran cooking....?) or how his 'parents' sacrificed themselves for his sake and promised to come back for him absolutely etc.. which implied he was very close to them during a period that was never revealed to us in any way and, all along, Clone-parents|SxS only ever truly showed real interest in their son 'Syaoran'.

A very unerving thing: it was repeated all along that Fate/Future could be changed, but in the end, we could see that everything went as they were supposed to for most of the story (=90%), else, there is no way Clow Reed could have paid long long looonngg in advance for the reincarnation of the clones: both him and Yuuko knew how things would turn out till almost the very last moment.

*sigh*

And there is a lot more to say but I will stop here, too tired :P

Too many things are left unexplained and it pisses me off, to be frank. First time we got a villain without long back story and complex motives? Booooring.

TRC has become a joke of a manga with the worst ending ever when it could have been a good manga.... if you don't want to give explanations and fill the plotholes at least make the ending heroic or action packed to be slighty interesting.

Wow. Boring. It's not even about whether it made sense or not anymore. I really hope they end this thing with at least a slight 'pow' if they can't do it with a 'bang'. If they end it with a whimper, though, I'll feel like I've been had.

Or Clamp will use another manga to explain the character motives, like they did with Sei and Subaru in X..... any bets at FWR being a character in Gate7? XD

Villains without motives simply do not belong in manga/anime. It's a universal law, damn it. :/
