[News] Dark Horse's Okimono Kimono?

Ann.com reports Mokona's Okimono Kimono book being promoted at Dark Horse's booth at this week's SDCC. The cover is definitely revamped with the english title more prominent. DH also has cute 20th Anniversary bags out there [credits: debaoki]. SDCC is still going on so feel free to poke DH about release dates.

ETA: Random rumor on 2ch is reporting that Maaya Sakamoto will be doing the opening song for the Kobato anime. (since Flying Dog, Inc is producing the music, it's quite likely, but of course, we'll verify this as soon as a source is found.) Just a happy rumor.

The fact that Dark Horse is promoting a book about kimono--something that, ten years ago, would likely never have been considered for translation and publication in the United States due to a perceived "lack of interest"--makes me feel very optimistic about the company's relationship with CLAMP.
