I just recently saw some questions that I had to answer late.
If you have any questions regarding the CLAMP fanbook submission process, comment in this post.
If it is something in regards to your fanwork, please go ahead and submit it to me directly [seichan80 at gmail dot com with the subject heading "CLAMP FANBOOK - Your country"].

Do they have to be new to the fanbook i.e. not published before?

I´m just about to send my artwork but I have one last question, in the guidelines says it should be between 150-300 dpi. What is dpi, please?

if you right-click on a jpg or png, it should tell you what the dpi is.
if your pc doesn't tell you, go ahead and send it, the editors will know if it is too small.

usually if your image have about 2300+ pixels on both sides it should be big enough. Dpi is how many pixels packed into an inch

I have a question regarding the size of the pictures you send in, the book is 25 x 20 cm large right? Does the fanart have to be adjusted to that size before it's sent in, or do you resize them afterwards - when putting the book together? Also if there should be a problem with the things you send in (regarding things like size, dpi and such), will you contact the person who sent it in and ask them to correct it or not? Obviously I follow the rules that you've decided, I'm just asking in
case of the scenario that there's something wrong with the pic I've sent in and I'm not aware of it.
I would like to have the oppurtunity to fix it that's all.
Again thanks for coming up with, and driving this project forward, never thought something like this was possible.

you can send it any size you want. 25x20cm is the maximum size. it'll probably be good to have a variety of sizes. smaller images are ok, too...white black space on a page is perfectly ok.

if the editor cannot open the file, they'll email you. if it's too small or blurry for some reason, they should contact you.

Question since I haven't seen it answered anywhere whilst browsing about. In regards to fanfiction, do we just include our name at the bottom of the .txt file after the fic is done? Also, does it count as part of the 550 words?

yes, it will count. you can add your name anywhere that seems reasonable.

About the size, you say in the guidelines "25x20 cm, 2888 X 2475 pixels is the maximum area" : do 2888 X 2475 pixels correspond to 25X20 ? It doesn't seem to me, but maybe I'm just stupid... >______

not sure, but you can submit it and we'll contact you if there's a problem. it's probably ok if its a little big. we're mostly concerned if it's too small.

Ok, I've submitted it to my editor (Morgif-kun, from Italy). It's a photo of a reproduction of the mantle Souma has in Tsubasa luxury cover no.13, if you'll have to recognize it. I hope there won't be problems! >_____
