I actually tend to agree that it would be cheap for Yuuko to come back. But on the other hand, I could totally see her being reincarnated like the clones were--which in some ways would be the best of both words, imo.

A) I hope Yuuko stays dead. I love Yuuko but I feel as if all those recent scenes would be cheapen if she was brought back. Besides I'm not even sure if she wants to be brought back. She's spent a long time stuck without ageing due to Clow's magic. I can understand it if she wants to be free of that.

If a reincarnated Yuuko appeared towards the end of the story (like Wish), I would be fine with it.

B) Dunno

C) Hard to say. The fillers are used to keep xxxHolic at a pace close to TRC because CLAMP wants them to end at the same time. So it depends on how TRC goes if there's going to be more fillers or not.

D) Maru and Moro are back! And they're still adorable. I thought it was cute how they were hugging Watanuki while crying. My heart goes out to the three of them.

And Mokona is back too! But it's just not the same when he's being so serious.

i was thinking fillers for holic since trc still had the whole fei wong thing to sort out. hopefully holic will continue with something interesting while trc does their thing....holic does have that bad tendency to take frequent breaks.

A. Not me. I love her heaps, but I hope Clamp sticks to this and not for them to start something magical that'll somehow bring her back, because I'm sure it's going to be silly. She wants him to live, he wants her back -- conflicts conflicts, but one has to win over the other.

B. I DON'T KNOW AND FRANKLY, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW. As long as it doesn't involve Doumeki doing something dangerous for Watanuki, like idk losing a limb or two, I'm fine with it.

C. These monthly breaks are enough, thank you very much.

D. Doumeki's expressions -- I don't think he showed this many emotions in one volume, let alone a chapter. And, sobs, those two.

When will the next TRC chapter be out, anyway? Surely not this week?

A. I don't know, but like it was said above, since they're saying that Watanuki will wait for her in he shop I think there must be something more to come. I doubt that they'll resurrect her, but perhaps she'll be back in a different version, or time or dimension, or... something else. I personally wouldn't mind her coming back if it was handled well, but I don't want what happened in the last few chapters to lose its weight either, so overall I'm leaning more towards not wanting her to return.
B. Well, Yuuko said that nothing would hatch from it... I have no idea what it will be used for though.
C. Nah, I think CLAMP will just make more schedule breaks if they need to adjust its timeline to the one in TRC. To be honest though, at this point I personally find it hard to think of any chapter as a filler, since there are so few of them left. I'm happy as long as we get anything at all, even of it's just 15 pages about Watanuki making rice balls. :X
D. I'm very, very happy that Moro and Maru are back. Also, that splash page of Watanuki is the saddest thing ever.

XDXDXD Apparently Kimihiro will be so busy at cooking the egg so he will not disappear suddenly =.=

Well, to be serious, I believe the egg will somehow save Kimihiro from his dangerous existence once the choice is made. Remember, both Kimihiro and Syaoran(the son/real one) have to make a choice soon in either xxxHolic and Tsubasa. I don't think the egg will help that far as to make Kimihiro be able to see his parents or help reviving Yuuko, which I don't wish to happen.

I guess my takeaway is that, though I was always certain that the egg would be used to secure Watanuki's existence, it seems that Watanuki may have done that for himself already, and that the egg will be used for reincarnating Yuuko something else.

That may be the choice Doumeki has to make. The egg might be able to secure the existence of one person, while the existences of two people are in question. Yuuko wants Watanuki to exist and Watanuki wants Yuuko to exist, but it's Doumeki who has to choose.

If that's the case, then Yuuko set the whole scenario up right from the start by giving the egg specifically to Doumeki. Because let's face it, everyone knows who he'd pick. It'd also make the whole Lady in the Park storyline a great bit of foreshadowing.

This would also explain Mokona being so somber, since Mokona knows what's what and that Doumeki can only save one of them, when Mokona loves them both.

Really Long Rambling Theory...

I have a weird theory. What if Yuuko already reincarnated???

Clow was in Clow Country when he died, meaning that he was in the future. But then he reincarnated as Eriol and Fujitaka in the Cardcaptor Sakura world, which was WAY in the past of Clow Country.

So Yuuko could have reincarnated already. Ok, my weird theory is that she's Kaho Mizuki from CCS. Yeah, I'm a YuukoXClow and EriolXKaho shipper... think about it. They both like to have fun; they both made the comment that there is no coincidence in this world, only the inevitable; they're both mysterious.

Of course, Sakura wouldn't know whether Kaho was a big drinker or not ^=^
Kaho's face and hairstyle are kinda similar to Yuuko's, and the color doesn't have to matter. After all, Fujitaka doesn't look like Clow until you know it at the end.

Also, after Eriol met Kaho in England he created Spinel Sun and Ruby Moon, both of whom have butterfly wings rather than bird wings like Keroberos and Yue. Yuuko and butterflies are practically one and the same.

Plus, Kaho has loads of moon power and Eriol trusted her with the moon bell so she could help Sakura. And the most obvious clue is that both Yuuko and Kaho are trying to help one of the Sakuras fulfill her power and stop either the Last Judgment(CCS) or Fei Wong's plan.

Oh! And the feather under Tokyo Tower is the one that purifies the reservoir. And Tokyo Tower is where the Last Judgment took place, too. So if acid rain Tokyo is Clow Country's past and CCS's future(remember the Sakura in the OVA?) then that feather has been through EVERYTHING all the Sakuras have been through. Kaho was there to help her in the very beginning, and Yuuko helped her at the very end. So it comes full circle.

Idk if Yuuko is more than one person, but I think if she was anyone at all she would be Kaho Mizuki from CCS. Sorry for the long ramble... what do you guys think?

Ooh, you could be right. That would be awesome (although I prefer Watanuki/Yuuko to Clow/Yuuko, but... ^^;)

It's a good theory, but I feel like Eriol and Kaho would have been mentioned at some point in the same way that CCS Sakura/Syaoran were. Plus that would mean Kaho and Yuuko would exist at the same time, which is an even bigger time paradox than the Syaorans. I'd like to think Yuuko is an original character, and if anything she'll be reincarnated as a regular girl.

The egg is for making the omelet that will prevent the end of all worlds. When That Moment arrives, Doumeki is to give it to Watanuki and tell him to make an omelet. That's that this whole food arc has been leading up to - Watanuki is the only one in the world who is a good enough cook to pull it off.

Well, we already know that it contains both Sakura's memories of Syaoran and Watanuki's memories of his parents, so those could be the only things it will seal.

Of course, it could also end up being used to seal something else entirely. We'll just have to wait and see about that.

A. Er... kind of? I'm kind of fond of CLAMP's predilection to reincarnate, so I totally don't mind if she does so. I'd just rather not have her come back to the story again as the wise witch of the dimensions.
Happy endings for all but one aside, I think the last true glimpse we'll see of her is as a kid or person on the street that Watanuki will recognise but will then realize that she's not the Yuuko he knows.

B. I'm leaning towards magic or a spell. Something. But I do know that Doumeki now has a PLAN.

C. Maybe... probably ones that look like fillers but are actually important like most of the 'fillers' in HOLiC have been so far. And I do think that HOLiC will continue a bit more after Tsubasa finishes.

D. OMG, the Maru+Moro cute with Watanuki hugging them.
Also, the fact that the shop is one of the reasons that Watanuki is still around and that Yuuko SPECIFICALLY used the last of her power to keep it in place makes me wonder if the shop is now technically Watanuki's.

A. I certainly hope not. Both Yuuko's and Watanuki's stories can be resolved without bringing her back to life in some form; in Watanuki's case, he can separate himself from Clow and Syaoran's fear of letting their loved ones die by moving on. He'll always remember and care for Yuuko, but that doesn't mean he has to bind himself to the past (or to the shop).

...To be honest, I especially dislike the idea of Yuuko coming back as a little girl, or of her striking up a romantic relationship with Watanuki. They both seem at odds with the maternal figure she became to him. (Besides, if Watanuki loved Yuuko in that way, wouldn't it be necrophilia?)

B. The egg might be able to bring back everyone's memories of Yuuko, thus making her death easier to bear.

Although, like ceitean and starlady38 wrote, it could be used to secure his existence--possibly at the expense of Yuuko's.

C. I doubt there will be any fillers, since the series is being published on a monthly basis and is due to be finished sometime this year. There doesn't seem to be enough time!

But if there were some more filler chapters, they would likely involve spirits instead of customers--it's been a while since we've seen any.

D. I'm glad Yuuko used the last of her power to keep the shop intact, and to thus keep Maru and Moro alive. It's still hard to believe that they don't have souls...
