CLAMP-NET's beginning of July update: TRC and xxxHolic manga chapters will be out next week, then the rest of the month doesn't look too hot. On their message board, CLAMP says that they are heading to the airport for Paris!

Say whatta? There are going to be Wish characters in Kobato? I remember Kohaku and Usagi being referenced but I don't remember anyone appearing.... hmm, well I guess this is CLAMPs way of connecting the two before the manga gets to that point.

kobato is slated for 24 episodes, and there really isn't much manga story. maybe the wish characters will make up some nice fillers. can't wait to see the updated character designs.

Does the Newtype announcement really mean that the Wish characters are going to be more prominent in the anime than in the manga, or are they just referring to the characters that have already appeared in it (i.e., Kohaku and Usagi)? I hope it's the former--even though I never did care for Wish that much, so many people want to see the characters again.

I think that they'll be more prominent. They only mentioned Kohaku in the manga and it would be silly to make an announcement about only Usagi. We'll see next week I suppose. Hope the new illustration has the Wish characters in it. :)
