Who's your daddy? - Cut for spoilers.

So this chapter clears up who's who. Reactions? Are there anymore questions about Syaoran and Sakura's timeline? Who spotted this a mile away?

There won't be any chapters for Tsubasa and xxxholic for a couple weeks due to Paris' Japan-Expo. If you had the opportunity, what would you ask CLAMP about TRC and xxxHolic?

Okay... Now I'm confused. So Clone!Syaoran and Clone!Sakura ended up having a child and that child was the reincarnated Real!Syaoran? But didn't they die like, chapters ago? O___o

I am not too happy, but then again my doubts of this are the ones that got me into debates that I lost now XD;

oh well though, while I don't really like time paradoxes...it makes me wonder how the heck were the clones alive BEFORE this distortion? o3o

Yeah that's what I'm asking me too - that some how doesn't really work for me.
But I guess the distortion already began with Yuukos "not-dead"-stat. Therefore it's possible to make as many distortions as you want as an autor *laugh*

still I don't like this plot twist - it seems very forced to me and doens't match with the beginning of TRC >_>

finally the theory has been confirmed after a few weeks' debate in the fandom, I like the outcome ^o^ I am just so happy for the plot twist and numerous debate over a fan theory (I am a bit crazy, I admit XD)

I stopped reading Tsubasa a while ago and then last week read all of the updates in one sitting... and really didn't find it too confusing, or at least not as confusing as everyone said it would be. The moment the clones were brought back, it was a given they were gonna end up as the parents. It's like watching an episode of Doctor Who. I CREATE MYSELF and whatnot.

Also, seeing older!Syao is such a treat after n-years of being a CCS fan. Though I think C!Syao needs longer hair for some reason.

yeah, his hair is slightly different, but it could be more different. Sakura's hair...could've been a little more different..just for a change. but then it might've been harder to recognize them. clamp's hair styles are sometime the only differing trait with a large cast of characters.

Time Warp!

Okay....so....I'm confused with the whole ordeal.

Yuuko was about to die until Clow wished for her life to be extended which messed up the whole time flow...
So Yuuko's time was at a pause, right?
She opened the store to grant wishes to revive...Sakura? How?
What was FWR's wish all about?

Now...with the Syaoran and Sakura situation:
there are 2 sets of them...TRC and CCS...
But in the TRC: there becomes another 2....R! and C!...am I getting this right?
The Real ones basically died, but the clones were given another chance...

And were reincarnated to CSS! Sakura and Syaoran?
What happened to the original CSS! Sakura and Syaoran???

So the CCS Sakura and syaoran are not involved in this story only that CCS sakura gave her staff to Clone/reborn Sakura in a dream. Other then that the CCS characters are not involved at all right? Then what the are the CCS characters doing? Do they even exist in this world, do they end up not existing? (CCS Syoran was from China and we never saw his parents. Was this Syaoran originally meant for CCS Sakura maybe? Does CCS even happen? Instead Syaoran goes to Clow country?). *confused*

lol ccs did happen, just in another dimension out of the thousands of dimensions that exist in TRC. They're only part in the story is giving reincarnated C!Sakura the star staff but that's it. That doesn't mean CCS didn't happen.

Reincarnated C!Syaoran is from A China in A universe. CCS!Syaoran is from a China in CCS!Universe.

This recent WOW! chapter just made CLAMP even MORE awesome!

Ok, so I get the Clone! things....

Anyone have any idea why in chapter 217 where you see when CCS Sakura meets Clone!Sakura in the dream...CCS Sakura said that the staff was a very precious thing to Clone!Sakura?

Also, does anyone else notice that the Clone!Sakura and Syaoran seem kinda different in that latest chapters where they come back and battle Fei Wong Reed then from when they have the Tsubasa Syaoran? It might just be me....but they have a different feel..more like Tsubasa and CCS combined?

AND WILL WE EVER KNOW TSUBASA SYAORAN'S REAL NAME??? Because earlier we get told that he took his fathers name when he first went to Clow Country!

I think it's just that in the fight with FWR, they were more gung ho and fighting and stuff, which is a totally different mood to cuddling your son and standing in beautiful gardens. So that's probably the reason why they feel different. :)

So... I'm a bit confused but from what I understand xxxHolic and CCS do not take place in the same dimension (how disappointing...). Then it's even more natural that Yuuko never met the owner of the star wand.

Eventually everything becomes clear about the fight against FWR in clow country. R!Shaolan parents definetly ARE the clones, that's why Shao's father got Clow's magical power, he inherited it before his rebirth.
CCS Shaolan having clow's power didn't make sense to me, at least now its clear to me!

I don't know why, but I think CLAMP is not finished confusing us... ^^

I quite liked this chapter, though IMO it could have been a bit better placed (right in the middle of the climax of the action is not the best place to wrap up loose ends, CLAMP).

I know a lot of people were turned off by the clones and even more will be turned off by this new twist, but I think it makes things more interesting — C!Syaoran being R!Syaoran’s father stands as a reminder forever to all involved that time was seriously effed up, like a tattoo that came of a particularly drunken night but a tad more disturbing.

And after all, with time and space being messed with as the premise of the series, it should almost be expected that something like this would happen, isn’t it? I’m actually quite pleased it turned out like this. But I also happen to have a very particular personal liking for just this sort of time paradox-y thing.

SHUTTING UP NOW. :| Thoughts? “GTFO”s? Also, CLAMP, pls 2 b getting back to the action now? (Or in three weeks when the next chapter comes out anyway. *headdesk*)

I must say, that I prefer this scenario, rather than CCS!Sakura and CCS!Syaoran being the parents. In fact, the only thing about this series that really started to bother me was the seemingly inconclusive time warps and clone armies. At least this ties a majority of the mess together, and somewhat clears it up.

Do we know why CCS!Sakura gives C!Sakura her staff in an earlier chapter?

I believe C!Sakura gave up the staff to Yuuko as payment for sending baby R!Syaoran to Clow Country, so that was to clear up how she got it in the first place.

I'm confused... The whole time/space mess started because Yuko didn't die when she was supposed to and R!Shaoran wanted to save clow!Sakura from dying and change the future, which Yuko assured us all was possible. But what is the future exactly? If R!shao hadn't interfered the clones wouldn't have been created and he couldn't have been born, so technically there was no future for him to change, because he simply didn't exist in that future >__< and what was Fei Wong trying to achieve in this story? where is he anyway?...
the concept of time is so messed up in this manga. Take Fai for example. We know that he is about 100 years old or even older (Yuko told Kurogane that Fai has lived several lifetimes longer that Kurogane and Kuro appears to be in his 20s). The first time Fei Wong spoke to Fai was in Valeria when Fai was still a kid and Fei Wong told him that he had already prepared a clone for the space time travel, but when Fai finally meets clone Shaoran he is already about 100 years old. So how much time has passed in Valeria/Celes and Clow and what's the difference? This seriously makes my brain twitch

after reading this chapter my mind exploded. i guess i forget details to easily. if C!sakura and C!syaoran are really R!sakura and R!syaoran's parents then...what about CCS!syaoran and sakura? is their dimension even involved or have they been spared this insanity! i just want my CCS characters to be all right...:(

C!Syaoran and C!Sakura are only R!Syaoran's parents. R!Sakura is the daughter of the Clow Country versions of Fujitaka and Nadeshiko and was born in Clow Country. So far as I understand, CCS!Syaoran and Sakura are mostly uninvolved, except CCS!Sakura figured out that C!Sakura would need her wand sometime after the events of CCS and gave it to her in a dream. Other than that, CCS world is unaffected, except we know now that instead of Clow dying, he actually went to Clow Country.
