their trip to france must be taking up time. and i'm sure they like the tension the wait brings since both manga are closing in on the end.

those are my thoughts exactly. Especially with xxxholic, which has had so many breaks. Tsubasa "conveniently" has breaks whenever something important happens in the story, and those heated debates comes up.

I have no idea how they're going to tie things up in the next few months if they keep this up, with such short chapters and so much left to be explained.
