Hi! For everyone who will be attending Paris' Japan Expo from the 2nd to the 5th of July this year, I have the great pleasure to announce this:

I just received a newsletter saying that the studio CLAMP will be honnour guests, to celebrate their 20th anniversary, and the Japan Expo's 10th.

I think I'm dying a little with the joy.

Also, who would be interesting in a meeting in Paris or the convention and is there anything special you would like to do?

If we all meet, we might get CLAMP a present, too.

In fact, there is an English version (http://www.japan-expo.com/art-1-en-accueil.html) of the site and this (http://www.japan-expo.com/art-110-en-guest_:_clamp.html) is the page devoted to CLAMP!

Personnaly, I'll try to video tape every event and do faithful reports of them!

I'm also thinking of doing a translation of the interview included in a recent promotional DVD celebrating their 20th anniversary in France. I think that ti was in fact originally made for Angoulême Festival last year, but well...
Would anyone be interested?

I was thinking about organizing a meeting at the con if there's enough people interested in it. What do you think about it?

It was in the DVD Pika and Kaze made with the first episodes of Angelic Layer, Tsubasa Chronicle, Chobits and xxxHolic.

A fan meeting would be great! It might be a bit complex to put on and they have yet to say anything concrete about the events , but it would definitely be lots of fun!

I also hope a few of the usual Clamp cosplayers (I think in particular of a TRC group including Kamui, and a young woman who did Princess Emerald recently) were there!

Mmmh, peut être complexe mais ça en vaudrait la peine. On pourrait faire quelque chose de sympa relatif à leurs oeuvres ou un cosplay ou quelque chose comme ça, non?

Ce qui est sûr, c'est que je serai cosplayée en Horitsuba!Fai *w* Bien que je pense aussi à Subaru... Mais je penche plus pour Fai-fai.

Lol, ce n'est rien! J'ai utilisé l'anglais pour que les non-francophones puissent participer à la conversation si besoin est!

J'avais également pensé à cosplayer, sans doute Yuuko, mais comme j'ai des concours je n'aurai pas des tonnes de temps... mais Holitsuba, ça serait sans doute faisable!

Penses-tu qu'on pourrait également leur remettre un cadeau? Quelque chose comme une peluche, ou peut-être une bonne bouteille, étant donné qu'elles semblent apprécier l'alcool XD

&hearts Yuuko! Mmmh je ne ferai Fai que pour les CLAMP, parce que je compte participer au concours de cosplay avec mon Grell chéri, de Kuroshitsuji.

J'y pensais!! Bon, pas à quoi que ce soit de concret mais effectivement à leur donner quelque chose en gage d'admiration et de remerciement. On pourrait peut être ameuter suffisamment de gens pour faire un fanbook ou quoi? Et je pense qu'une bonne bouteille d'alcool est une excellente idée :D A quel genre d'alcool tu penses? Un bon vin? Une liqueur?

Lol! J'adore Kuroshitsuji! Il y avait déjà un assez bon Grell à Paris Manga - ou était-ce la CJE? Bref, ça fait plaisir de voir que le fandom est bien installé en France.

Je pense qu'un fanbook serait difficile à monter, étant donné que cette communauté en fait déjà un. Il faudrait voir si certains des gens seraient intéressés et auraient le temps.
Je pencherais volontiers pour un alcool bien français, qui ne serait pas forcément facile à trouver au Japon et qu'elles mettraient un peu de temps à consommer, genre cognac ou autre eau-de-vie. Maintenant il faudrait savoir de quel budget on disposera...

If I were to cosplay, I'd probably do something relatively simple in terms of custome. Maybe sensei!Fai or the like.

I'm preparing for exams this year, and I won't have time to try to get something nicer ready.

I kinda expect to be reaally disappointed, and that there'll be so many people I'll barely see them lol But I'll try no matter what :P

Me and my friend inafrozenworld are planning to go... If it still seems like a good idea after we sleep on it and it won't leave us bankrupt. The prices of accommodation are pretty high D:.

Not so sure we will bother if we can't see Clamp though...

A meet-up sounds like a lot of fun however (I can practice my limited higher French Skills :D)
