[Preview] Dark Horse's Clover Omnibus

Dark Horse has a 3-page preview of their upcoming Clover Omnibus release. The cover looks just slightly different from what was previously advertised. The Clover Omnibus will be on sale April 22nd.

First to bring Clover in English? I guess TokyoPop never translated it before... even though I had those books ^^ WHOOPS. But I'm glad Dark Horse is releasing it now. The translation will be better (hopefully) and the book may actually stay together.

my tp clover isn't lasting like my jp clover. hopefully dh's clover uses better paper than tp. :) at least the pictures won't be flipped this time.

That's actually why I sold mine, because the covers were already going and guh the formatting, and I was just like "Screw this..." and sold them. I'll probably pick up the DH version though. It'd be nice to have it all in one chunk.

I'm rather disappointed with the typesetting. This is such a beautiful piece of storytelling, I wanted every aspect of it to be as exquisite as the artwork.

Still, better paper and ink is enough to convince me to buy it.

have to say that many times scanlators pick out better fonts and place them better. :)

I remember searching high and low for scanlations of this once, it actually took me a few days, and once I found them I realized that they must've been the old TP translation since they were flipped. So I'll definitely look at these once I see them in a store.
