[Re-release news] Blu-ray round-up

Card Captor Sakura will be re-released on Blu-ray in Japan in two box sets:

The Clow Card Box
- on sale March 27 [81,900 yen]
- episodes 1-46
- includes Clow Card compilation, Kero-chan Check version of Card Captor Sakura's creation, textless op/eds & booklet


The Sakura Card Box
- on sale June 26 [49,350 yen]
- episodes 47-70
- includes Sakura Card compilation, Kero-chan Check omakes, Tomoyo's Diary, textless op/eds & booklet

(These will be available until 2010, so you have time to save up over a thousand dollars or check Amazon.jp for their prices. )


There is also news of a domestic re-release of FUNimation's Tsubasa Chronicle on Blu-ray in 2009. No exact date or info is given.

:) haven't even gotten a blu-ray player yet and don't plan on getting one anytime soon. man, that's alot of money for the whole series.

Don't forget that some Blu-ray discs are region free, but we won't know for sure if these are until they are released!!

this is TOO high of a price. Even though I love CCS dearly, i wouldn't pay that much for it >.
