CLAMP-NET updated with more Newtype goods from CLAMP.
Newtype 10 (on sale 9/10) and Newtype 11 (on sale 10/10) will each carry CLAMP-illustrated clear files promoting Code Geass. The images will be the two Newtype covers that they did.

Clamp Manga Update

Hey, I just thought I'd let everyone in on some updates I heard from someone about CLAMP's situation having to do with unfinished works. This information came from a reliable source, who works at an online book store that has marked up prices (that is as much as I want to say to protect the person), who before working in the US, worked with people in the Japanese manga industry. This person got some insider information about three of CLAMP's uncompleted works (some of this might have already been rumored).

X - The rest of the chapters will be released online, right now there are know plans to release printed copies due to problems with the publisher (the person heard that CLAMP is considering printing the last volumes with a different publisher), but there is a lot of talk about it being printed by VIZ in english, so we may get it printed in the US even though the Japanese might not
Legal Drug - has not been worked on past the first three volumes, but will resume as soon as xxxHOLiC and Tsubasa are complete sometime early next year
CLOVER - is finished, but it is undecided how the remaining chapter will be released (straight to volumes, or re serialized in a magazine)

thx for an update.
i think these rumors have been floating around for years. the most recent mention was when they visited the usa and i think the audience asked them about those titles.

maybe once they finish trc and xxxholic, clamp will announce something solid. :)

Your welcome, I actually have a question also. I was wondering if there was a comprehensive card list for CLAMP in Cardland, so I can know what cards I still need. This isn't so much for the sets, but more for the promotional cards.

here's their website card lists. i don't think there is a translated list anywhere. you can make a new post and see if anyone has one. i think there may be a few members that are collecting them.

Thanks, does anyone know the best way to get some of these promo cards. Based on the translation I read (google translate), it looks like some of these could be pretty hard to impossible to track down.

In case you were wondering. I met this person at Otakon 08, and this person was working the booth in the dealers room for this particular online book store.
