In regards to the Newtype, do you know the Newtypes that are published in America? Is the Clamp Newtype a part of the same line?

Sadly, the USA Newtypes reportedly do not have the same content as the Japanese ones. No matter how much we'd want the same content, the USA's version are probably be months behind without many of the special things the Japanese ones have.

The CLAMP Newtypes are special editions of Newtype..not a part of the monthly magazine which is usually released on the 10th. The CLAMP ones are released the 25th.

Thanks so much for the information! Aw, that's a shame to hear, but I'm not surprised that they're a few months behind. That's to be expected, I guess. :( I would have loved to be able to read the CLAMP Newtype, especially this X one. Oh well. Thank you!!

viz media has the usa rights to X or X/1999 so unless viz and newtype have some sort of partnership that i'm not aware of, it'll be surprising if newtyep usa publishes these special clamp issues.

About newtype: I got the august edition, there was an article on the FMA movie in it "Hang on this seems fimilar..... OMG! I have the japanese version on my computer from more than a year ago!" Delayed publishing O.o

i think they'll wait like another 5-6 covers before putting another fan favorite on the cover. they'll probably go through yuzuriha and kusanagi and the others maybe.

i think you have to send something(an order form that comes with the magazine?) in to get the drama cd. thus, you probably have to live in japan.
