ah, madhouse...how i miss thee.
on anime
quickly glancing at journals, i see much anime criticism. none of clamp's animes ever 'followed' the manga exactly. i think clamp themselves like it that way.
the problem with xxxholic (and tsubasa) is the quality of the 'adaptation'. ie, the writing, animation, direction, and overall budget. it's obvious that they 'can' make it look good...as seen in the movie, but really, the director's repetoire isn't all that great and his storyboard staff are newbies also.
sooo, really, i'd enjoy it for what it is or ask clamp why they didn't choose one of the other studios who can make their manga actually look great.
clamp just now seem to be getting to a climax in their career with these elaborate manga and their crossovers. they are also promoting themselves with television shows and visiting foreign countries, so why would they choose studios to produce their stories into shows where people will go 'eh..whatever'; especially now where animation in anime is so fluid and dynamic. anyway, make sure to ask them at AX.

Speed is a bit weird; really fast (80 KB/sec) then randomly changes to 10... then back to 80.... lol. Looks to take a little over 35min with a good connection on a crappy computer :D. *waits patiently*
