The price is 3888 jpy (around 30EUR-32USD)
It's release date is March 24th, 2016
There's going to be a total fo 144 pages.
The dimensions: 176 x 250 mm (B5)
The publisher is Kodansha.
As of now, and I doubt there will be any changes at this point: the only new illustration will be the cover of the artbook, and there will be new comments about the illustrations by Mokona. Other than that, this is a selection of artworks from 1998-2001. These artworks were personally selected by CLAMP as their favourites, from "Nakayoshi" magazine.
About the price, 3888jpy is actually expensive taking in consideration the prices of artbooks in Japan in general.
And no, I wouldn't go as far as saying that the price is shocking either or anything like that, but considering these are all illustrations from 20 years ago (= there are no exclusive, or unpublished materials) + the number of pages which is bigger than the 90's artbooks but nothing big either, I can only hope and guess the cost will be justified by a high quality book.
I pre-ordered it from amazon this morning, and for you to have an idea of how much it will cost: I live in Spain, and I will get it from Japan for 5990jpy (book + DHL express international shipping (I usually get my book in 3 days) + import fees)

Date: 2016-02-01 07:19 pm (UTC)well, I think it's expensive for the number of pages and size... I just bought Takarai Rihito's artbook for 27000 yen, with 158 pages and B5 (softcover)... I'm still waiting for it to arrive so I can't say anything about the quality but I read comments saying it's a pretty book ^^
Maybe the CCS book is a harcover or comes with goodies! I'll be waiting for the previews, I'm hunting B5 artbooks and considering I longed for a CCS artbook when I was younger, it would be nice to finally have one! *o*
