From Banpresto

The first and fifth pics are, again, of the 4 figures and kitty Sakura, then we got 3 towels (seen from the back, but you guys can easily imagine what they look like ;) ), pens with charms, notebooks: the one which looks like a clow book seems to be full of "clow card" and "sakura card" pages, I suppose many fans would have fans drawing their own creations on themm ;) I do not know what is the sakura book on the right though, it looks somewhat tick to be a notebook? And finally the 4th picture is a schedule: the figures will be released in January 2015 ans already said above, the pens+matching notebooks in February 2015 and the towels in March 2015.

EDIT: not from Banpresto, this is a Furyu figure, which explains why her face felt so familiar to me, she looks like her predecesor! BTW, Furyu have actually released a pink version of the Sakura 1st OP costume figure, but since they were literally identical expect a really sliiiiiiiight change of color (you really needed to look hard! The 2 clear things though, were the magical circle under her, which was pink instead of black, and also the clow cards coming out of the book which were different), I didn't think it was necesary to even post about it here in this community. uurrh...what do I expect from this figure knowing I own the 1st one? It's a cute figure, I'm happy it's not the 1st op costume anymore else I would have gone mad, but that's it, this is definitely not comparable to GSC nendoroid or the upcoming (2015) figure from Kotobukiya. Of course, the prices can't be compared either...

And the twitter post about it:

From Takara Tomy, the drafts of 2 new figures were revealed: Sakura and Syaoran in their summer uniforms!

And the twitter post about it:

And still from Takara: Clow/Star cards metal collections of key chains, featuring all the cards that were included in the 12 volumes of CCS:

From Bandai: new charms!

From Break Prize: new plushies!

And the twitter posts about them:

Nakayosi 60th anniversary: (it's the magazine in which CCS was serialized)

They decided to reprint all the Clow Card + the Fortune telling book that goes in pair with it (in case you want to play with the cards).
It's scheduled to be released in January 2015. This is really bothersome for me, bcs I already own the set of cards, but not inside of a "clow book", but then again, buying again the whole thing just for the carton box is really not reasonable...

maybe you can sell your cards and use that money to pay part of the new set? but it's a risk because you don't know the quality of the new set :s (like, maybe the old one was thicker or something like that?)

hmmm, this is one of the few times I'm glad I don't have a credit card! :P

The shopping war is declared again! xD

These days I feel as soon as I've paid something back to my credit card new character goods I want come out! It's a terrible cycle. Being a sucker for stationary goods I'll probably go for those new notebooks as soon as they go up for sale somewhere. The character "sakura cards" charms and the others are tempting too.

That said. It's very tempting to get the Japanese Clow Book although if I remember right it's made of hard cardboard (assuming it's exactly like the original one from the 2000s). I already own the anime version of the book and cards (U.S. release) and the manga version of the cards by Glenát. I wonder why they didn't release the book along with the cards, but at least they did the guide in Spanish (>.< I don't mind buying Japanese books to support authors but hate I can't read them).

Btw, from what image is the SxS figure set based on? Don't think I've seen it myself before so I'm curious. Thanks for the update!

I'm going to legit cry at all the Suppi plushies and goods. I thought I had dreamed (for the millionth time!) that new Suppi merch was coming out last night and I woke up disappointed it was just that. But no. OMG. What am I going to do?! That towel! And those plushies?! *tears of happiness* Guess I'm going to have to learn how to use Yahoo Japan again...

I'm curious about the card reprints. Because the original set came in a Box that looks like the Clow Book with the Fortune telling book inside the box as well as the cards. So more then likely it's going to be the same thing.

Thank you so much for the link! Hmnn, okay I probably had seen this one but didn't really remember. Gosh it's so.... YELLOW xD almost hurts my eyes.

But I guess it turned out okay for the figurines. I still need to get Artbooks 1 and 3. I got the Tokyopop US edition of Artbook 2 but I wonder what the Spanish one was like. Haven't checked if it's hard cover but that would be nice to have.

I suppose I might consider the Kodansha/Nakayoshi Clowbook depending on how pricey it is. I'm still trying to find if the music box that plays "Platinum" is available somewhat cheaper than the one place I found it. >_< Animate USA never advised they were going to sell it so now I'll have to get it overpriced.

OMG! Thank you so much for pointing this out! >_< I always forget about Movic!! Even going through a proxy seller would be a hell lot cheaper than the one posted on Amazon.

I'm going with CD Japan - maybe it's small and all but it's a cute collectors item. They require express shipping but well >_< at least I'll get points out of this for future goods.

Finally! Now I can actually get that blasted fortune book! It was cursed for me and i was always outbid at the last second. That and I didn't want to pay a kidney for it off of Amazon.

They don't sell it, but here's the thing: They offer a Special Request Shopping Service in which they can purchase for you any item from any other online store. You fill out an online form with the link to the page with the item you want, give them a short description and submit it.

CD Japan then receives the request and looks at the website. If the item is still available they will make a page on their own website and you can order as usual through them. They do have a mandatory EMS requirement for the shipping of special orders and it does get expensive, but at least I feel secure going through them and not through multiple third parties or proxy buyers.

Plus Special Requests do qualify for the point program CD Japan has so at least you get something back from it. This is what I used for ordering the Cardcaptor Sakura purses from Super Groupies as well as other special character items from other online shops from Japan. Expensive but at least I know they take very good care of the goods and you don't have to deal with trying to order the items yourself.

If it interests you or someone you know, here's their page on Special Requests:

*huggle* I came close to not getting them! The pre-orders had stopped for a bit before CD Japan uploaded my request (it was the middle of a Japanese holiday so it took them some time), but I guess it was just a website issue and managed to get them.

It really is frustrating. I do hope that with the popularity of the product they'll do a re-sale. I'm following them now on Twitter and Tumblr in case the make other goodies.

I'll keep an eye out in case I spot the purses at other online shops, though at this point it'll likely be the usual yahoo japan and amazon with ridiculous prices.

As for CD Japan, they ask for a week's time to upload Special Request Items, though they're usually faster than that as long as it's not a weekend or holiday.
