The Cardcaptor Sakura Licca dolls have been revealed. There will be a battle costume version and uniform version. Both will be available August 2014 for 7,236 yen each. Purchase both and get a special illustrated anime package. [More info here]

My only 'problem' with those is...why always the same clothes? ;_; I know these are her trademark costumes, but still!!! It would be great if they could diversify sometimes...

For anyone out there interested in owning one or both dolls, but don't want to use a proxy buyer to get it for you from the japan only online store (and pay for expensive fees + shipping cost from japan..I know, I've done it countless times, no regrets at all, but if it can be avoided, might as well!), there are both sold on YESASIA:

About pre-order: The pre order period has already started and is scheduled to end on April 21th, 2014.

About the price: Shall you decide to preorder, you will get a 10% discount on the original price (89.51eur instead of 99.45eur). That said, I don't know if it will even be still available for sale out of the pre-ordering period since this is a limited edition release.

About payment: (I personally asked about it and this is the answer yesasia staff sent back to me by email)

-if you choose credit card as your payment method, they will bill your credit card account only after your order had been shipped. However, your credit card issuing bank would have held the ordering amount as a pending charge so as to have your order further processed. A pending charge was not necessarily a valid transaction until it was confirmed by a billing request from the merchant.

-if you choose PayPal as your payment method, you need to pay first when you placed the pre-order.



I hope this info will be of use to some fans out there who were wondering how to get the dolls, I personally would love to pre order the one with the red costume from the 1st OP, but it's EXPENSIVE! That said, I will have to come a decision eventually since the preorder time is limited...
I'm tired of that red costume, it's really getting redundant (both the Furyu and nendoroid are like this too...ugh!) but I like it better than the school uniform version: the red costume one gives off the feeling they worked harder on her clothes and the fact she is smiling also makes her look cuter.
