Calendar
Well, I hesitated before posting about the calendar, since it felt like something that could have been fanmade considering all the pages are old illustrations, but it is sold on both AmiAmi and Hobby Search so it seems authentic? (update 15/01/2014: it is now sold out on both amiami and Hobby Search).
What convinced me is that the cover of the calendar is a new artwork I've never seen before as far as I can remember (if I'm wrong, do comment about it, but on both amiami and hobby search, they specified it was an original cover, shouldn't be wrong normally...?): [click on thumbnails to enlarge]

Well, I also saw that other goodies were released at the end of 2013 and also on preorder for 2014 like a Can Badge Collection, a Character Sleeve Collection, a wall scroll[this one is also a new illustration of Sakura and Tomoyo at the beach] and also a figure by Furyu (
aznwolfdoll posted all the details HERE)
Well, seeing all this, I felt the need to make a listing of everything CCS related in 2013/2014, and the list in not short!
-Clamp 2013 calendar including a new CCS|SxS picture
-CCS DVD sets 1,2,3 all released on january 23th (something about Rondo Robe 20th anniversary? not clear what it is, but related to geneon universal which releases the CCS discs?)

Date: 2014-01-20 09:34 am (UTC)Thanks for the post by the way haha :) Even though I will probably never be able to get the books. ; - ;
PS: Does anyone know if those 3 books are of limited supply?

Date: 2014-01-21 04:42 pm (UTC)By the way, is this the page you were planning to buy from? --> http://animestyle.jp/shop/archives/351
If Tenso doesn't work, how about another proxy buyer that could purchase it for you?
Now, where else could you get them?
You might want to look for them on yahoo.jp auctions, but you will need a proxy buyer to get them for you since it's limited to japanese residents.
Then of course, there is ebay.
On my side, I'm having a surprisingly hard time getting the calendar: it was out of stock on both amiami and hobby search only days after I learned of its existence and I hadn't ordered it yet from neither because I didn't think it was *that* urgent, but it seems like their stocks must have been minimal. Fortunately I found it on hobbylink, but only a couple of days after I preordered it, it got the label 'discontinued' and I'm now afraid that my order might get cancelled D:
I'm not being paranoid, I'm talking from experience: last year, I had my proxy buyer get something from animate store but then, they notified me a few days later that even though animate had validated their preorder at the time, they received later an email from animate's staff telling them there was no stock anymore and that the order was automatically cancelled ;_;

Date: 2014-01-22 09:33 am (UTC)Yes I was planning to buy it from that link you have there. But I would have to do some real digging around to find another reputable forwarding service. I feel like most forwarding services don't offer COD as an option for payment. Maybe I just have to give up on getting it (or else it would put a hole in my wallet or some other such kind of thing)...
D: That really sucks.... :(( asdfjkl so hard to get things from Japan ; - ;

Date: 2014-01-22 11:19 am (UTC)The CCS calendar thing, as expected, I was told by Hobby Link I was in a waiting list with no guaranty of ever getting it, but I went back to Hobby Search by curiosity and its status was changed to 'back order' (10 days availability) from 'out of stock', so I hurried it and ordered it immediately! Worst case scenario, both cancel on me, best case scenario, it becomes available on one store before the other (so I can cancel whichever comes 2nd) and in-between scenario, finding myself in the situation of having to pay for both, in which case I will sell the extra one on ebay~
And YES! It's surprisingly hard to get some things from japan, unless it's amazon.jp in which case it's incredibly easy hahaha~ Proxy buyers helps out but we have to pay their fees + shipping + cost of the item, the final cost is generally high.

Date: 2014-01-26 01:29 am (UTC)Oh man!! Hopefully you're able to get the calendar! CCS print items have been so rare (except now when there's recently been a lot of things of CCS being released)
Yeahh, definitely. Even amazon.jp is expensive b/c international shipping costs so much.

Date: 2014-02-01 10:48 pm (UTC)I was fighting tooth & nail over whether or not I should get it from this seller. I normally wouldn't spend so much money on a book but seeing how rare these are...I bought the pink book. I couldn't help myself--I HAD TO HAVE IT. (And basically, my 'proxy' is eBay.) Out of the 3 of them, the pink one looks like it'll have more of what I'd love to see. I know I overpaid for it, especially when I read in your other comments that they were being sold for $35 each! But the chance of them showing up again on eBay will be just as rare as the books. And since it's not being sold on websites that aren't in Japanese or a proxy service, I knew I couldn't let this book get away.
When the book arrives, which probably won't be for another week or so--I'll snap some pictures or maybe do a short video of flipping through it & post it here for curious folks who want to see what it contains.
And as of this moment, someone else has bought the grey book but the seller's auction for the white book remains unclaimed! The listing is HERE (http://www.ebay.com/itm/CARDCAPTOR-SAKURA-CHARACTER-DESIGNS-Comic-Market-85-C85-12-2013-LIMIDED-RARE/161207625559?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222006%26algo%3DSIC.FITP%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D19853%26meid%3D4537935416605865350%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D8938%26rk%3D0%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D161207625964) if you want to check it out.

Date: 2014-02-02 06:28 am (UTC)I never had any problems with SMJ (http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com/) so far (I asked several items from them 6-7 times since 2011), I hope you will also have a good experience with them and get what you want! Don't forget to check their prices; truth is I'm not into recommending things like that since I believe each person should decide and feel if they can trust or not this or that service/seller, and even like that, some of us are happy with one store or another while some of us hate them ^^;
That calednar thing is driving me mad: now both hobbysearch and hobbylink gives me no news, while amiami just put it back now for direct order, I'm lost between these 3! @_@ What now? Order from amiami TOO? */me going crazy*
About amazon.jp, the shipping cost (always DHL for international buyers) is very high so I always have to combine several items, but we have the ease of order, the safety/guaranty of amazon and the fast shipping of course~

Date: 2014-02-13 06:28 pm (UTC)For me, I was getting worried because I placed the order through SMJ but it didn't show that they had received the package from animestyle yet and it had been already like 2 1/2 weeks but finally today it said received from seller so thank goodness! I was scared that it would go out of stock before I would get it, but surprisingly animestyle still shows them in stock! I thought they would've flown off the shelves a long time ago.
Yayy I'm so glad you finally got it! Or, will get it! I'm hoping to get mine too! (Eventually.) Haha, but I'm not in a rush, as long as I get them safe and sound, I'm good :)
