[Update] CLAMP fanbook gift

Happy Holidays CLAMP fans.

Earlier last week, I received confirmation that our Happy 20th Anniversay •CLAMP• Fan Appreciation Fanbook has reached its destination. Both Carl Horn (Editor at Dark Horse Comics) and CLAMP's management were impressed by the quality of our gift.

We sent 2 copies (one wrapped and one unwrapped) of the finished fanbook to Mr. Horn who was asked to review it before sending it to CLAMP's management who then in turn, gave it to CLAMP. Please give many thanks to all the fanbook editors who spent some time gathering all the submissions, contributing translations and photographs. Thanks to everyone else for participating and helping out with loose ends. It took some time to put everything together and to get final reviews & edits in. The result is a lovely and brilliant piece of fanwork that gathered CLAMP fans from around the globe.

The watermarks are from the printing company's software to prevent people from reprinting. The book will be made available to buy after the holidays. The printing company is a print-on-demand company based in the USA. The book is an almost 400-page hardcover with dust jacket, so expect it to be about as pricey as a museum artbook.

Btw, I had offered to reimburse Dark Horse for shipping, but didn't hear from Mr. Horn. If I don't here from him in the coming weeks, I will donate the leftover funds to charity.

OMG. I completely missed the posts when you were deciding the front covers so I had no idea how it was going to look. But really, I cannot believe how amazing they look. LIKE GOBSMACKING PROFESSIONAL AND WOW. I wish someone could capture Clamp's reaction to this. I think they might tear up. I know I would, knowing how many people love their work and contributed to this! :DDDDD
