Judging by the illustrations, the story looks fascinating--I wish we were able to get at least a basic summary of it before. Maybe we'll get a translation when the book is released?

yes, just by the illustrations, I'm curious about the story, too. Can't say that I'm optimistic about a translation though. (if only it were a manga instead, more translators would be interested)

Yeah, I hear that light novels really are neglected by translators (in both the publishing companies and the fandom). It has CLAMP's name on it, though, so that's good reason to be more hopeful.
