but I am glad they established that this indeed is a loop because of the clones being the parents (and of course the logic part, but then again that was all obvious)

so I wonder how they will indeed "break" this loop. I guess they enlist the help of CCS!Saku and Syao? I sure hope they do, and involve them in some way

I said to outou that the fact that the clones wound up in the tube, when the originals were meant to, seems to indicate that they were/are/will be able to change the future to some extent. How much and how is the question.

As I said in the previous thread, this is only a random theory so don't take it too seriously, but I've been thinking that FWR made an error somehow: FWR evidently didn't know that the clones reincarnated, since it happened while he was fighting off SxS when it occurred; furthermore, he wouldn't have created them if he had known in advance they would be the ones who would destroy all his dreams and plans in the end...he also showed clearly he had no idea father|Syaoran could use Clow Magic.
If we add up all this and the fact he insisted so much into naming him always "clow reed blood relative", I think we can include the possibility the one FWR truly wanted to kidnap would have been a possible future child of CCS|SxS, CCS|Syaoran Li being the one and only known character related to Clow Reed Clamp ever officially recognized.

I also found it very weird that after so many things happened, the 'original' Syaoran Li from CCS was hidden out all along and never shown at any moment. It just a bit surprising that he would have nothing to do with something which seems so closely related to him? ^^;
Anyway, based on Clamp's recent declarations in the Japan Expo 2009, it indeed seems to have been officially confirmed CCS|Syaoran also got a role to play in all this somehow.

I can only guess that the final connection with CCS|SxS shall eventually appear soon enough...in a couple of months that is, considering we got one chapter per month =___=

from my own LJ: "R!Syaoran's parents are C!Syaoran and C!Sakura. It's still all kind of demented, wherein the son is not the clone of the father, but the father is the clone of the son. D: so in effect, R!Syaoran is the byproduct of the C!'s, making him sort of related to R!Sakura because his mom is R!Sakura's clone. "

I agree with you : concerning what Ohkawa-sensei said at Japan Expo, I have no doubt it concerned Tsubasa. At least, in this chapter 224 Sakura says something like "I met another me... no, another us from another world". So, as she met Kinomoto Sakura, it must mean she also met Li Shaolan.

I have one question : what world are TRC!Clow, Yuuko and FWR from? According to what Yuuko said when Watanuki saw Kinomoto Sakura's first staff replica, I would guess Yuuko lives in CCS world : then maybe the Li family was aware of FWR's plans, and Li Shaolan went back in Hong Kong because of this?

Nevertheless, if Yuuko really lives in CCS world, wouldn't she be sad to know Clow was reincarnated and lives happily with Mizuki Kaho?

Ickle Syaoran is egjdksla;sdjl; adorable love. I nearly fell off my chair. must kidnap him. Funny how CLAMP spend months drawing angsty horror and nasty fight scenes, and then come out with something that adorable. I bow at their feet. Did anyone else cry, or was it just me who weeped at the flashback/dream?

Clow doesn't live happily with Kaho--Eriol does. They're entirely different people, as Eriol emphasized at the end of CCS.

Also, TRC|Clow is CCS|Clow, so he is (barring any unforeseen revelations about his origins) from the same world as Sakura Kinomoto. Considering his relationship with Yuuko, we can presume that she, too, is from the same world--or at least spent much of her life there.
