xxxHolic manga Volume 14 will be available with a limited edition DVD of an original animation (not a sequel to the tv anime, but the first part to a new production) on January 16, 2009.

First a CD drama, now anime...the manga is getting some nice goodies. Whose betting TRC is coming out with one, too? The 2ch'ers pointed out that Mizushima recently blogged about the two series not being about to crossover because of the series' timing...hm, hm.

Btw, Amazon.jp has their larger image of TRC volume 24's hardback cover up...but no obi announcement is on it.

Amazon.jp and other online stores (like yesasia and jpqueen) will carry it. Yesasia will sometimes run out of limited editions & cancel your order, and Amazon.jp will only take a certain number of orders, but I've seen the Tsubasa OAD's still up at yesasia so it probably won't be a problem finding it.

I'll keep an eye out for their preorders pages. :)

How exactly would one go about ordering volume fourteen? I imagine this is only in Japan, and since I'm not there, I'm not sure if it's possible for me to get it. I know I've been dying to get my hands on the drama cds, but alas, they do not come to America.

someone just asked about online ordering. amazon.jp took preorders for the previous volume 13 with drama cd. they probably will have the limited edition dvd, too. it's still quite far away, but i'll post links when they have the items up.
