[Update]CLAMP@Mobile

Although CLAMP@Mobile's official opening day isn't until July 1st, they've been updating many of the pages, and members/beta testers have actively been using them. You can browse much of the site here. There are fancircles for your avatar, knowledge tests to win items, an encyclopedia, and CLAMP's graffitti blog (for members only...darn).

ETA 6/14/09: they've finally updated to put security on the beta site. ah well, hopefully, you've got a glimpse of the preview.

Fujimoto Kiyokazu at Desucon, Finland

Hello! As you (should) know, CLAMP's manager Fujimoto Kiyokazu from Pyrotechnist was at Desucon in Lahti, Finland on 6.-7.6. He held a lecture about CLAMP and answered questions from the audience. I have provided a somewhat detailed report of his lecture along with other happenings of the con at my LJ, you can read it and find out what he talked about at http://hiro-bnk.livejournal.com/55026.html. Desucon was arranged the first time this year by Kehittyvien conien Suomi ry. Its objective was to be a different and better con experience, and in my opinion it succeeded perfectly. It had three guests of honor: Furuya Tooru, a very prominent seiyuu you all should know, Fujimoto Kiyokazu and Imai Ryuusuke, a university professor specialized in animation. (Beware when reading my report, there are copious amounts of Furuya Tooru in there and you may die of awesome.) The story of how Fujimoto actually came to the con is quite interesting, I wrote about it in chibiyuuto's journal here in the comments if you want to find out.

Sadly I have no pictures of Fujimoto at the con, perhaps some will appear on Desucon's official site http://desucon.fi eventually. Enjoy the report!
